It's a bright and beautiful morning, here in Phoenix, AZ! I am launching "DOG BLOG" in
conjunction with DoGreat Work™ which seeks to highlight those in the community here in
Arizona and everywhere, who are helping animals in need.

Through my work as a graphic designer, artist, business owner and social worker, in
the name of DoGreat Work™ I will look to donate a portion of each Fine Art purchase
to organizations I find doing Great Work to help animals!

Join me here as I will blog about pets in need, adoption stories, acts of rescue, my own personal
accounts, cruelty-free products, adoption events, vegan recipes and more!

If you have a story to share, please feel free to email me at MEGipson@outlook.com for a
Guest Blog spot on "DOG BLOG"!

Happy Saving!

    Meet Meagan and Scruffy:

Meagan adopted Scruffy on August 1st, 2006. He was listed as being somewhere between 4 and 6 years old. He became her baby boy, her "Scruff Loves" and her sidekick for the next 15 years.

He loved their ventures to coffee shops around the Valley, their long walks, breezy car rides and their road trips to Prescott, Jerome Alpine, Flagstaff, Wickenburg and many other places in Arizona.

He loved hiding his bone, snacking on fortune cookies and exploring his grandma's and grandpa's backyard full of flowers, trees, birds and fish ponds. He also enjoyed his days lounging on the love seat or in his doggie bed at Meagan's office as the business mascot. Clients and vendors alike, always greeted Scruffy when they visited.

He was quirky, independent, hilarious, smart and the most gentle soul with such a sweet and good-natured spirit. He loved his life, as Meagan made sure it was full of adventure, safety, fun and love.

Scruffy passed quietly at home, surrounded by his mama and grandparents on June 22, 2021 between the age of 19 and 21 years old. He is missed dearly and daily but he made a great impact on Meagan's heart.

He inspired her to make it her life's work to continue to help save animals' lives and to promote the value in rescuing and adopting a shelter animal. She wrote a children's book about him called "Hike & Seek" and he is the reason she created DoGreat Work™ to highlight those who are helping animals in need.
